Qwaltec Joins Amentum-led Team on $4B Space Force Range Contract
TEMPE, Az., October 7, 2025 – Qwaltec is proud to announce it is a member of the Amentum’s Jacobs Technology Inc. team which was recently awarded the $4B Space Force Range Contract (SFRC) by the United States Space Force (USSF) Space Systems Command (SSC). Qwaltec will provide support across the contract scope.
SSC is the U.S. Space Force’s field command responsible for acquiring, developing, and delivering resilient capabilities to protect our nation’s strategic advantage in, from, and to space.
The contract will transform the way operations, maintenance, sustainment, systems engineering and integration services are provided at the Eastern and Western Ranges, to enable their eventual transformation into efficient, high-capacity multi-user spaceports.
The work will be performed across both ranges, including Patrick Space Force Base, Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, Kennedy Space Center, and Vandenberg Space Force Base.

Under the contract, the Amentum team will provide systems engineering, cybersecurity, integration, logistics, sustainment, operations, and program management solutions to support Assured Access to Space (AATS) Space Systems Command and realize the USSF’s goal of modernizing the Launch and Test Range System (LTRS). Updating the LTRS will enable a high-cadence, multi-user spaceport model for national security, space exploration, and commercial launch operations.
