Shawn Linam

President and CEO

Shawn Linam is the President, CEO, and co-founder of Qwaltec, responsible for the development, direction, and management of the company. Prior to Qwaltec, Shawn worked as an Engineer at Scitor Corporation, NASA, and Barrios Technology. With extensive experience in space systems operations, she has designed and implemented training systems for numerous government and commercial space programs.

Shawn holds a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from Mississippi State University. In addition to her professional responsibilities, she actively promotes STEM careers and education for women and marginalized communities. She has served as the STEM director for the Girls Rule Foundation, co-founded a South Texas Hispanic Engineering Scholarship at Texas A&M Kingsville, and hosts the In Her Orbit podcast that shines a light on women in the space industry.
