Mission Readiness Specialist
Greenbelt, MD

Qwaltec is seeking mission readiness specialists to develop mission readiness products and plan/execute mission readiness simulations and rehearsals for NASA and/or DoD satellite programs. Candidate should be able to perform the following tasks: 

• Design, develop, and provide user training. 
• Plan, schedule, execute, and evaluate mission simulation exercises and rehearsals.
• Operate a HW/SW hybrid simulator 
• Identify user requirements, identify operations concepts, assess key operations elements and provide recommendations for optimizing mission success.
• Develop system operating procedures and flight documentation. 
• Perform acceptance testing. 
• Provide engineering support to real-time operations. 

Candidate should have a technical degree or an extensive background in preparing a satellite ground system for mission support. Military service planning and operating an operational satellite control center is also acceptable. The successful candidate must display exceptional written and verbal communications skills. The successful candidate should be familiar with control center development activities and have experience with command and control applications.
