Imagery Analysis (IA) Instructor
Fort Belvoir, VA
Qwaltec is seeking a Geospatial-Intelligence
instructor to develop and deliver basic, intermediate and advanced
imagery analysis training. Duties will include:
- Provision of Subject Matter Expertise
(SME) for the development and revision of geospatial- intelligence
analysis courses that are instructional systems design (ISD) compliant
- Presentation of technical imagery-based
courses to large and small groups of experienced imagery analysts, all
source analysts and tasking office personnel
- Course delivery in classroom, mobile
team training, video teleconference, computer based training and team
teaching environments
- Instruction may require travel to
external customer/military sites
Candidate should have a minimum of 8 years applied imagery
intelligenceexperience at the national or operational military command
level. A
working knowledge of Instructional Systems Design (ISD) and the
national imagery exploitation process, completion of a military service
or national imagery analysis course such as the National Imagery
Analysis Course (NIAC) or the Geospatial Intelligence Training Program
(GITP), familiarity with softcopy imagery exploitation software (Remote
View, ERDAS Imagine, etc.) and experience working in SCI environment
are required. Excellent writing and briefing skills are mandatory. A
BA/BS degree or equivalent experience as well as 1-year experience in
an adult learning program (service intelligence school or college) or
experience in commercial, theatre or airborne imagery collection
systems is desirable. Training or experience in the use of geospatial
intelligence analysis applications and product development is also
desired. The successful candidate must be a U.S. citizen and hold a
current TS/SCI level security clearance.
